Root Canal
Everyone was kind and courteous. My only grip is that I had a root canal that took about an hour and when I asked for something for the pain I was told the only thing I needed was ibuprofen for the swelling. NOT TRUE I was in so much pain it was terrible. I’m still hurting today and am not happy about having to take tons of ibuprofen which burn my stomach. I think a little more compassion with these types of procedures is called for. I will not come back to this office again.
tooth extraction with dr. hersh
the dentist is my least favorite place. but everything went very well–quick, painless (except for those dang injections) and the doc was great. knows i’m a very nervous patient and goes out of his way to ease that.
Procedure not over
I had upper quadrants scaled, #3 extracted, and bone graft. The procedures went well. Dr. Hersh said he would provide the implant for the sale price advertised on the Gentle Dental website.
Great Experience
I was very impressed with Gentle Dental. It was my daughters first dental appointment, and she did great. The Dental assistant and Dentist were very sweet and informative. I defiantly would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Hersch
Dr. Hersch needs to go to a sensitivity training. When I asked for clarification of certain procedures, he was very impatient and condescending, using phrases like – I told you—– or I said——. Imagine this with impatience in his voice, all the while he is typing like a banshee and rockimg out to Katy Perry. Really? I may be 52 but I am not an idiot. If I’m going to drop over 5K and pain is involved, don’t treat me like an idiot. I will go to anyone but him.

The dentist visit is never FUN, but I had a pleasant experience.I was a little nerveous at first,but the doctor took time to answer any and all questions.My procedure was over a hour long, but I left feeing fine. I would recommend this doctor to anyone I know.

I enjoyed everyone who greeted me and explained everything that would take place for me that day. Although with complications I was still satisified at the end of the day with everything.

I had a deep cavity under a filling. Dr. Z removed the cavity and saved my tooth. I also love that the office is always accurate about billing. I moved from another dentist and couldn’t be happier.
Filthy Imagry Equipment – Inexperienced Staff
While lying in the examination chair to have an x-ray done I saw what appeared to be a dried vomit stain on the bottom of the x-ray machine. The technician agreed it was dirty and stated he would report the problem.

I went there for the first time on monday morning. I wasn’t overly impressed to say the least. The lady who work on my teeth hurt me and didnt care. I was crying and in pain. I did not like that at all. The guy also, had funny remarks. Oh do you brush your teeth, do you floss? Excuse me you don’t talk to people like that. The surgeon telling me to shush. that is disrespectful to say the least. I don’t care if you need to explain some thing to me 50 times until i get it you better have patience. They should make you feel welcome and wanting to come back. I haven’t felt that way. I am very picky who works on my teeth. I have very weak teeth. Lots of things hurt me. They should be patient and more understanding. Im paying a lot of money so don’t give nasty remarks or attitude!

Of all the dentist that I have been to in my life, this is the best experience that I ever had, the treatment was unpainful, the doctor was very professional and the staff was very caring, especially the manager, she made sure that everything went smooth.
I would definetely recomend Gental Dental to all my family and friends.
My Experience
My wire referred me to Gentle Dental which is less than 1/2 mile from where we live. For yrs we were going to Sunrise. At first I was impressed with Gentle Dental. Then the people in the billing office got involved all the good, turned bad. They were billing me on my wife’s insurance and couldn’t get it corrected. We had to push to make it right. But then they would do it again on the next visit. Their attitude pushed me out. Then my wife go screwed over when they would not listen concerning the submission her claims correctly for the year. My wife is in the insurance business so she knows her stuff. Your office cost her $ and she had to postpone future surgery’s til the next year. YOU LOST TWO GOOD LOCAL CUSTOMERS DUE TO YOUR BILLING DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL. Our fallout is that we have stopped going to the Dentist regularly because of our experience with you folks. Local vs Corporate. It’s all about Customer Service & followup. You failed us. We simply got screwed over with an attitude. To bad, as we are two locals with overlapping insurance coverage with a need.
