Dr. Maikel Segui is one of our oral surgeons and dental implant specialists here at Gentle Dental. Dr. Segui is a native of Havana, Cuba, and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He practices a full range of oral surgery procedures, with special interests in bone reconstructions for dental implants, orthognatic surgery, and dental alveolar surgery.

Dr. Segui is an honors graduate from Florida International University and has been trained and educated in a variety of respected medical institutions. His educational history includes:
- Bachelors of Science, Biology – Florida International University
- Doctor of Dental Surgery – University of Maryland Dental School
- General Practice Residency – Miami V.A.
- Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Training – Jackson Hospital, University of Miami
Teaching and Volunteerism
Dr. Segui teaches surgical procedures as a member of the part-time faculty at the University of Florida-Hialeah Dental Clinic. He also volunteers and practices as a surgeon at a mission clinical center in Delray Beach.
Dr. Segui is currently in the application process for board certification with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dedicated to restoring teeth with results that look and feel natural, Dr. Segui continues to further his dental education and implement the latest advances in restorative dentistry and oral surgery.
