Here are some of the many general and reconstructive procedures we perform on a regular basis.
Fillings
Fillings are a treatment performed by the dentist to remove minor decay and restore your teeth. White fillings (also called composites, bondings and resin filings) are performed using a resin material that is colored to blend with your tooth, rendering the filling virtually invisible. State-of-the-art composite fillings are long lasting because the material actually bonds to the tooth enamel to help prevent breaking and insulate the tooth from temperature changes. The new materials strengthen the teeth and reduce the risk of fractures that can result from the expansion and contraction properties of amalgam (silver) fillings which does not bond to teeth. And, because the resin material actually bonds to your teeth, resin fillings allow the dentist to preserve more of your natural tooth structure than with amalgam fillings, which extend the longevity of the restored teeth.
Inlays / Onlays
Dental inlays and onlays are used to repair moderately decayed rear teeth, and they can also be used on fractured or cracked teeth that are not damaged enough to necessitate a crown. Made from tooth-colored resin or porcelain, inlays and onlays can repair a tooth with natural-looking and very durable results.

Crowns
A dental crown, or “cap” as sometimes called, offers a permanent remedy to improve the appearance and health of a significantly decayed or damaged tooth. Dental crowns look and feel like a natural tooth, and provide comfort and stability for years when done properly. Gentle Dental offers a complete variety of crown materials and alternatives for every case and bridge including the latest and most aesthetic all porcelain materials, Learn more about dental crowns.
Bridges
A dental bridge is designed to restore permanent missing teeth by literally bridging over the adjacent teeth with prosthetic replacement teeth. The dental bridge has been an effective technique in dentistry for many years, and is known for its successful results. When performed properly, dental bridges can last for many years providing a convenient, permanent solution that stays in your mouth and acts like your natural teeth.

Dentures
Complete dentures are used to replace all of your upper and lower natural teeth.. Though dentures are removable prosthetics, they look like natural teeth, and new advances in dentistry have made them much more comfortable, durable and easy to maintain. Gentle Dental offers all types of complete dentures from economical options to highly aesthetic, porcelain teeth that are hard to distinguish from the real thing!
Removable Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are an effective solution for patients who are missing some but not all of their teeth, and don’t desire dental implants or a bridge. They are held in place by your remaining teeth and gums, and with a plastic and metal structure that connects them. Partial dentures look like your natural teeth and are comprised of strong and comfortable material.

Replacement of Old Metal (Silver or Amalgam) Fillings
Metal, or amalgam, fillings have been a common treatment for restoring teeth for decades; however, there is now a more aesthetically pleasing alternative. White (composite) fillings are tooth-colored and blend in with your natural teeth. They are also very durable and free of mercury.
