Marjorie was very efficient in explaining questions i asked her and gave me as a patient a welcome feeling to be in the office and that my being a patient mattered. The exit person who took my copay listened to what i had to say and put needed comments on my account about my next important visit this month. Excellent service, Carol has been helpful in the past also and has taken time for me.

It is always a pleasure to go to this office because the staff is very friendly. Irene is always cheerful and sweet. My children, Preston and Madison don't enjoy going to the dentist, but Dr. Gedeon and her assistant are always very warm and comforting. Thank you for the wonderful staff you've hired.

I had such a positive experience in your office today, June 27th 2014. I came in for an emergency visit and was very apprehensive. Everyone in the front office was very friendly and helpful. They put me at ease. Dr. Urquiza and Rosie were so kind and professional. I needed to have 2 crowns put in. Never having had a procedure like that, I was nervous. Thanks so much to both of these professionals. They truly made things easier for me. Thank you!

I must sing the praises of Dr. Urquiza and your receptionist, Judith. My 93 year old father woke up with a toothache in the middle of the night on a Friday evening. We spent most of the morning trying to locate a dentist on Saturday. Getting desperate, we went to an urgent care center in Tequesta. Thank goodness they knew about Gentle Dental's Saturday hours. We arrived at the Jupiter location at 1:30 pm. We were told there were 3 patients ahead of us, so they were not sure we would be seen, as they closed at 2:00 pm. Judith went to speak with Dr. Urquiza and because of my father's age, she agreed to see him. Antibiotics were prescribed, as well as a mild painkiller. Thank goodness these 2 ladies were kind enough to stay past their closing time, as they made my father's remaining stay enjoyable and pain free. I simply cannot express my gratitude for their kindness and professionalism. Thank you!

Everyone in the Pompano office is super. Natasha and Ivie at the front desk are always cheerful, pleasant and very helpful. Dr. Coulton is the best. He is very personable and very thoughtful of my situation.
He is very knowledgeable and always seems to know how to handle a problem with the least amount of effort. If he is unsure of something he is smart enough to get a consult with Dr. Hirsch who is in Boynton or Boca and is also an exceptional dentist. He is very smart and can handle any situation with ease. I am so glad I found Dr. Coulton and Dr. Hirsch and your Pompano front desk team.

Second to the common cold, tooth decay is one of the most common disorders that affect people. Unfortunately, the effects of tooth decay can be significant and long-lasting. According to the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, an estimated 92 percent of adults between the ages of 20 and 64 have tooth decay in their permanent teeth. Even more shocking is that 23 percent of adults ages 20 to 64 have tooth decay that goes untreated.  With startling statistics such as these, it is obvious why tooth decay treatment in South Florida is imperative.

At Gentle Dental, we are equipped with the tools to cure tooth decayor treat tooth decay. We make treating tooth decay in children and adult patients a top priority. Most people give tooth decay the brush off, if they even know what it is. Tooth decay occurs when bacteria in the mouth creates acids that slowly eat away at the tooth. When such decomposition is left untreated, tooth decay causes infection, pain and the loss of teeth. Inevitably, tooth decay causes those unwanted cavities that require treatment.

To prevent problems, it is important to identify tooth decay causes. A one-two punch of bacteria and food contribute to tooth decay. When plaque forms on the teeth, it absorbs sugars from foods and creates teeth-attacking acids. These attacks usually take place right after eating. Unfortunately, the acids eat away at enamel on the teeth and cause tooth decay.

Gentle Dental offers proven tooth decay treatment in South Florida. Our experienced dentists start by learning your dental history. They then conduct an examination, which is usually followed by X-rays of the teeth and mouth. To cure tooth decay completely isn’t always possible. However, there are many ways to address the problems caused by tooth decay.

The beginning stages of tooth decay are often treated with fluoride. Mild cavities can require fillings, while severe tooth decay might warrant a crown or root canal. Regardless of the extent of tooth decay, Gentle Dental has a proper treatment plan for every patient. We will treat tooth decay so that a brilliant and beautiful smile can be yours.
