I chose Gentle Dental because I was referred by a friend. I am extremely satisfied with my hygienist Tammy, my dentist Dr. Vignola and the office manager Priscilla. In fact, everyone in this office is more than happy to assist. Whenever I telephone, I am greeted with..."I can assist!" This makes me confident that my needs are being recognized.

I would like to compliment Anthony the Manager on his caring, very helpful and kind demeanor, as I have never experienced before. I am a new patient, and because of his ability to intercede, take control in a highly diplomatic, and friendly manner, I was able to get an app. for a rather urgent situation. I highly recommend Anthony for his ability to accommodate a patient in need.

Hi, I am writing today to provide feedback on my experiences with Gentle Dental over the last 3 years.

The reason I keep coming back is because of my dental hygienist, Alba. She always has a positive attitude and handles me with great care. When you have people like Alba who remember things about you and treats you like you're one of her only customers, you have happy customers on your hands! Thanks and thank you, Alba... see you in six months!

I scheduled a dreaded tooth extraction, and was very nervous on
arriving. I was called almost immediately which greatly helped the
anxiety of sitting in the waiting room and waiting for the fearsome
unknown. I was greeted warmly and given a jacket to wear as I stated
I was cold. Dr. Shofnos came in, we discussed the procedure, and after anesthesizing me, he proceeded in a caring and very professional
way. It seems it was over in minutes, and this morning I am without
any pain and the bleeding completely stopped. It was the best
extraction I ever had.

Gentle Dental Offers Tooth Decay Treatment in South Florida

Second to the common cold, tooth decay is one of the most common disorders that affect people. Unfortunately, the effects of tooth decay can be significant and long-lasting. According to the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, an estimated 92 percent of adults between the ages of 20 and 64 have tooth decay in their permanent teeth. Even more shocking is that 23 percent of adults ages 20 to 64 have tooth decay that goes untreated.  With startling statistics such as these, it is obvious why tooth decay treatment in South Florida is imperative.

At Gentle Dental, we are equipped with the tools to cure tooth decayor treat tooth decay. We make treating tooth decay in children and adult patients a top priority. Most people give tooth decay the brush off, if they even know what it is. Tooth decay occurs when bacteria in the mouth creates acids that slowly eat away at the tooth. When such decomposition is left untreated, tooth decay causes infection, pain and the loss of teeth. Inevitably, tooth decay causes those unwanted cavities that require treatment.

To prevent problems, it is important to identify tooth decay causes. A one-two punch of bacteria and food contribute to tooth decay. When plaque forms on the teeth, it absorbs sugars from foods and creates teeth-attacking acids. These attacks usually take place right after eating. Unfortunately, the acids eat away at enamel on the teeth and cause tooth decay.

Gentle Dental offers proven tooth decay treatment in South Florida. Our experienced dentists start by learning your dental history. They then conduct an examination, which is usually followed by X-rays of the teeth and mouth. To cure tooth decay completely isn’t always possible. However, there are many ways to address the problems caused by tooth decay.

The beginning stages of tooth decay are often treated with fluoride. Mild cavities can require fillings, while severe tooth decay might warrant a crown or root canal. Regardless of the extent of tooth decay, Gentle Dental has a proper treatment plan for every patient. We will treat tooth decay so that a brilliant and beautiful smile can be yours.
